Just wanted to let people know that I am actually around. Yesterday was a home improvement day, so I didn't contribute much to the march of science (or to the blog!). And this morning I have a lot of catching up to do on that march-of-science front, but I'll have a post up at lunchtime.
What is this home improvement thing you speak of? I can barely keep up with the march of destruction in my house (I hate toilet wax seals and uneven floors) and my baby has not yet reached her full capacity for havoc. Hope it went well.

I guess this is the final proof that you're a practical chemist, not a theoretician.
Apropos of nothing, I just realised that there are as many syllables in "the pipeline" as in "the navy".
