Blogroll Update

Email This Entry

Posted by Derek

I'm short for time this morning, so I wanted to just put up some new links to still more chemistry / pharma sites. First off is Pharmalot, which I thought I'd added to the blogroll but hadn't. Its author has covered the industry for years, and the site is a solid source for how drug-company news is playing in the press.

New to the chem-blog section of the blogroll are Syntheticness, A Chemist's Lab Notebook, Jungfreudlich, Carbon Tet, Two-Headed Chemical Mayhem, and Liquid Carbon. And the list keeps on growing!

Thanks for the update, you're always on top of things.
Pharmalot: pretty good!

Syntheticness: nice looking, but I haven't made my mind up yet.

Liquid Carbon: I've read this one for a bit, but it's generally just OK

Jungfreudlich: Great blog (especially since I'm always up for keeping my German in practice). I LOVED this:

A Chemist's Lab Notebook, Carbon Tet, Two-Headed Chemical Mayhem: crap, crap, crap

I'd just discovered Pharmalot a few days ago via another one of your links -- that's a great site.

I'm not sure why the biology community produces so few readable sites, with the exception of the informatics and computational guys. All the rest is either shrieking anti-creationist tarpits or Bitter Female Postdoc Grrrl.
